Technical Office Engineer

Job Description

  • Design of security and Low current systems (Access Control, IP  surveillance systems, intrusion systems , Fire Alarm …etc.)
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to existing and prospective customers.
  • Talk with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to have a successful implementation of the project.
  • Remain updated with relevant technology developments.
  • Receiving customer requests for quotes and preparing a competitive price offer that meets all the customer’s requirements and positions the company in a favorable position to receive a purchase order for the offers submitted.
  • Preparing shop drawings and sending them to the customer for approval once a purchase order is received.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical , Communication Engineering or Equivalent Related.
  • 2-6 years works experience (Experience in similar industries is an asset)
  • Proficiency in using Windows, Microsoft office suite and AutoCAD
  • Important Characteristics and Skills: Diligence, Honesty.
  • Strong personal interaction skills and good communication capabilities.
  • Strong presentation skills
  • High ability of self-learning.

Job Responsibilities

  • Receive customers’ requests for quotes.
  • Identify and understand required specifications.
  • Revise specifications with technical office manager.
  • Prepare price offers for projects based on received specifications, technical drawings and customer clarifications.
  • Finalize and send technical, commercial and price offers to the customer.
  • Revise offers based on customer feedback until an agreement is reached.
  • Prepare shop drawings for purchase orders received.
  • Revise shop drawings based on customer feedback until final approval is reached.
  • Send project information to the Manufacturing team after the approval process is finalized.
  • Make any necessary clarifications to the manufacturing team and follow-up the manufacturing process.
  • Follow-up with the manufacturing team to identify possible improvements to the tendering process.
