Job Description
- Directly supports the finance department by completing various accounting functions and ensuring necessary transactions/data is collected and processed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable
- Petty cash settlement
- Issue bank checks
- Confirm balances of contractors and suppliers at the end of each year.
- Completing purchase orders
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Verifying balances in account books and rectifying discrepancies
- Verifying bank deposits
- Managing day-to-day transactions
- Treasury
- VAT Monthly declaration (manually from the system then online, and its Payment).
- Add/Deduct TAX – per quarter (manually from system – prepare its payment with treasury).
- All Petty Cash reconciliation (review all the expenses).
- Banks reconciliation (compare bank accounts from the bank with the system – all journal entries related).
- Petty Cash Management (Monthly and daily expenses).
- All journal entry reconciliation.
- Treasury (all payments/receivables in cash & checks – all cash transactions).
Job Requirements
- 4-8 years’ experience in accounting with construction experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Proficient at an intermediate level with MS Excel.
- Strong accounting skills and oral/written communication
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to multi-task, work well under pressure, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Dependable, self-starter and motivated.
- Must be personable, work well with others and embrace a service-oriented attitude
- Excellent command in English and Arabic, Speaking, Writing and communicating
